Feels good to be back here after sooo long... feels good to get the creative juices going again.

Like I said in Tracy Part 1 [link] Been spending so much time for the past 6 months with very non-creative, boring corporate crap. Really been feeling the need to get back into creating and exploring. Thought the best way to go was to force myself to try different styles and techniques... stuff I've never tried, stuff I know I'm bad at, etc...

Currently working on my first 3d render piece, thinking it might end up trendwhoreish... dunno. Never tried it before and it's just not my style.. (which is the whole point!).. very inspired by Ekud's, and other's mindblowing stuff with the whole abstract 3d thing. (And I'm having a blast doing it!!)

Also working on my first freehand/airbrush piece (TracyEcstacy).. couldn't tell ya how it's going.. I'm just lost and kinda feeling my way around with it. Again, even though it's not my normal style, it's fun trying it.***************************

Ya know... with my new outlook, and new attitude towards work and my art... my renewed desire to push myself and learn again, it's really time for a fresh start.

The name Simplistic was born when I found this place over a year ago.. it's how I felt my work compared to the awe inspiring art and ideas here..

But the name's always bugged me and is not me, so with the fresh start Simplistic dies. (Not that I made much of an impression anyway) And I go back to the name I chose for my company over 4 years ago.. DreamFire, much more reflective of me, and what I want to become. .. [link]
